NEW YORK- When I found out that the beloved Netflix drama, “House of Cards”
was going to end after its sixth season, I was down-right shocked. After watching all five seasons with my 75 year old neighbor over the course of three days, I really had grown to love the show’s clever story and lovable characters. I was just thinking last week how important it was to have a show about card tricks and architecture, all wrapped into one!

If you had told me four years ago that I would be watching a show about house hunting magicians, I would have said you were crazy! I only wish the creators of the show could’ve snuck in some clever political references to be more relevant in these tumultuous times. With Donald Trump in office, it really is crucial that the public knows what really goes on behind those White House doors. Nonetheless, House of Cards had made itself the bread and butter of television today, and I’m sad to see it go after five brilliant seasons.
It has been brought to my attention that my last two articles may have been using fabricated statistics as though they were fact. I feel the need to address this, and I would like to apologize from the bottom of my heart. It was 30 years ago, and I really can’t even remember if it happened or not, my mind is Spacey these days. Despite this, I have had romantic encounters with both men and women throughout my life, and now am choosing to live as a straight man.
