NEW YORK- Following last week’s speculations on the state of the 202 A/B conflict, President Brunstein, of 202B, has indeed decided to withdraw from the union formerly known as “Room 202.” President Brunstein now asks that his own realm be referred to as 202B in order to add a degree of separation between the land over which he rules and that of the neighboring state. President Brunstein presented Secretary of State Oldfield with the articles of withdrawal on November 18, following no less than three minutes of diplomatic negotiations between the two representatives. Secretary Oldfield has made it clear that 202A, because of its kindhearted, generous nature, will always be willing to welcome 202B with open arms if they would just stop being such annoying dicks. Upon the return of the sacred shawl (see Volume II, Issue I “By the Next Waning Gibbous”) Oldfield said that a compromise will be made to re-evaluate 202B’s position within the decision making process in 202 itself. Because of 202B’s unstable resource acquisition system, 202A will continue to send foreign aid (most likely in the form of meal swipes and dining dollars) to the weak, suffering, and truly sad excuse for a room that is 202B, but if history continues, President Brunstein is likely to keep these for himself. Because of 202A’s easy access to the door without going across boundaries, it is likely that if war ensues, better mobility will lead to ultimate victory and eternal totalitarianistic control over 202B, as punishment for their foolish errors.
