NEW YORK- According to reliable sources, Mr. Brunstein, 18, of Brittany 202B has not followed Mr. Oldfield’s, 18, of 202A, request. By sundown on the most recent waning gibbous, the silken shroud was not returned. According to current neutral party, Daniel Velasquez, 18, of Brittany 1606, there have been whispers among the heads of state that 202B is considering seceding from the 202 Union. This division, though it would be liberating to the inhabitants of 202B, would be detrimental to their trade, transportation, and resources.
Because of the geography of the region, citizens of 202B would have to cross the border of 202A in order to enter their own territory. Despite 202A’s relatively relaxed immigration regulations, Secretary of State Gabriel Oldfield stated “if 202B were to secede, their citizens and visitors would need to pass through a checkpoint established and managed by operators designated by The 202A Department of State.” Benjamin Florence, owner of most of the resources in 202A has also stated that citizens of 202B would lose access to the refrigerator and microwave. Mr. Brunstein said he would need to quickly find a new storage facility for his stash of yogurt, the primary standard of value within the 202 economy.

Whether 202B will go further with the division is unclear, but it is certain that 202B President Nicolas Brunstein is in trouble. Following his statements on the Blanket-gate scandal, there has been word of uprise or even revolution within the confines of 202B itself. More to come as the weeks move on and foreign relations heat up.
Correction: in the print version, it incorrectly claims that Daniel Velasquez lives in 1608).
