Volume II, Issue I

NEW YORK- This past weekend, 202 welcomed a full grown man, who I now understand to be “Nico’s dad,” into its presence. He was pretty cool, very wealthy, too. What I loved the most about Nico’s dad was how he said his name was “Guillermo” or “William.” The fact that he gave me the choice of two names was so cool, really helpful. But it did get confusing, like when I went to call his name as he left, I stumbled on my words not sure of which name to pick. Funny how his kindness in giving me the option of what to call him resulted in me looking like a stupid idiot who everybody hates. I found myself calling him “Nico’s D” for most of the weekend, both behind his back and to his face. At first I think he found it amusing, but by Sunday grew annoyed, calling me a stupid idiot. His words had me really torn up, wondering how I could make it up to him. I decided the best thing I could do was to 3D print him as a present. This was pretty hard, but after cracking the books, I became an expert. I mocked up a pretty accurate print and gave it to him as he got on the plane back to LA, whispering, “I 3D printed Nico’s D for you.” Fingers crossed he likes it and doesn’t think it’s weird.
This is the greatest thing I've ever read.
