NEW YORK- While 202 resident Nicolas Brunstein continues to insist that Omar Ahmed, 18, is a friend from high school, the other occupants of room 202 are still not sure the two were truly associated. Arriving Thursday night, Mr. Ahmed immediately made himself at home. Along with Mr. Brunstein, the two attended “18 Below” on Friday, a “soccer game” on Saturday, and “Chelsea Market” with Dylan on Sunday.

I, personally, have never heard of any of these events or places. I would usually be able to write off Mr. Ahmed’s weekend actions, but I can’t help but think he was up to some evil things during his city visit. On Saturday, around noon, Omar claimed he was “quickly brushing his teeth” before tagging along with 202 for a lunch run. He proceeded to not only waste everyone’s time, but also raise some eyebrows as to what Mr. Ahmed was doing for upwards of 8 minutes in the 202 restroom.

Omar is well on his way back home at this point. After taking the R Train from 8th Street, Omar boarded Bus 69 of Port Authority, taking it all the way to Boston. Mr. Ahmed claims to be a student at Emerson College, although this may very well be false.

While this may seem ridiculous, I encourage my readers to check all preconceived ideas of religion and science at the door. I’m not entirely sure Mr. Ahmed is real. Think about it: he presented no real evidence of existing. I can see how this theory could sound a little out there, but trust me, I have imagined people before, this would not be the first time I pretended to meet someone, I do this all the time.
